Job: Intern
Positions Available: Multiple
Overview: The Intern will work with management to develop and support sports marketing initiatives and daily operational activities. The interns will rotate responsibilities on a weekly basis to gain a full understanding of sports marketing.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with internal departments to respond quickly to marketing needs, requests and problems
• Identify sponsor prospects
• Prepare brochures and marketing materials to distribute at local events
• Work in development and implementation of Social Media Campaign
• Coordinate special events and appearances to build brand awareness
• Report on special events and appearances attended by Heroes players and dance team members
• Develop a strong understanding of company’s mission and values
• Perform market research through interviews with fans and community sponsors
• Coordinate weekly e-newsletter to fans
• Appear as mascot at community events (if needed)
• Handle ticket requests
• Update online calendar
• Assist in various operational duties as needed
Job: Sales Agents
The Heroes are looking for professional sales agents to market group and season ticket packages for the 2013 season. There is also an opportunity to market sponsorship programs to local businesses and community organizations.
