Charles Gunnings - Head CoachCharles Gunning’s is viewed as one of best coaches in professional indoor football and is a fixture in the Fayetteville community having been both a professional player and coach. He brings a wealth of experience to the organization having been a head coach with three different teams the Fayetteville Guard (NIFL & AIFA), Richmond Raiders (AIFA) and the Fayetteville Force (SIFL) as well as a defensive coordinator with 4 different teams the Fayetteville Guard (NIFL), Huntington Heroes (AIFA), Richmond Raiders (AIFA) and the Fayetteville Force (SIFL). In 2007 he won a National Championship with the Fayetteville Guard. Charles was born in Gastonia North Carolina and raised in Laurinburg, North Carolina where attended Scotland High School. While in High School, Gunnings lettered in 3 sports: Football, Basketball, and Track and earned a football scholarship to Elizabeth City State University as a Defensive Back. Gunnings was converted to Linebacker and earned All CIAA honors at that position. Upon graduating from ECSU, Gunnings stayed at ECSU to coach as a Linebackers coach while he pursued his NFL Dreams. | Kelvin Suggs – Defensive Backs Coach Kelvin returns to Coach Gunnings staff having been a coach with the Fayetteville Guard in the past. He played defensive back at East Carolina University from 1995-1998 before joining the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent in 1998. |

| Robbie Davis – Defensive Line Coach Robbie comes to the Heroes having previously worked on Head Coach Charles Gunnings staff while both where with the Fayetteville Guard Championship Team in 2007. Robbie will work with the defensive line under coach Gunnings on this year’s defense. |

| Christopher Miller – Offensive Line Coach Christopher Miller also returns to work with Coach Gunnings having worked previously as the offensive line coach for the Fayetteville Guard in 2009. Coach Miller attended college at Hampton University where he played football. Christopher will be in charge of this year’s offensive line |

Billy Cash – Director of Football Operations Billy is responsible for coordinating the locker room set-up, practice schedules, practice and game day set-up as well as equipment issuing and ordering. He also over sees the Heroes two equipment managers Anthony Carter and Charlie Payne in their day to day responsibilities. Billy has previously worked for the Cape Fear Wildcats (AF2), Fayetteville Guard (NIFL & AIFA) and the Fayetteville Force (SIFL) indoor football teams. |

Anthony Carter – Equipment Manager Anthony is responsible for the day to day equipment, locker room and team bench set-up and daily practice set-up. He has previously worked for the Cape Fear Wildcats (AF2), Fayetteville Guard (NIFL & AIFA) and the Fayetteville Force (SIFL) indoor football teams. |
