The Cape Fear Heroes with an exciting 52-37 win this past Saturday over the visiting Harrisburg Stampede have captured the American Indoor Football regular season title. Both the Heroes and the Stampede entered the game with 6-1 records and tied for first place in the AIF. By winning the Heroes advanced directly to the AIF Championship Game on June 8th to be held at the Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville North Carolina.
